There are many challenges that biopharma forecasters<\/a> face but perhaps one of the greatest is asking people to change their behavior. No matter how many fancy forecasting tools and solutions you may have, people know what they like and one thing they like is Excel.<\/p>\n

In this video, I talk about why there is still a role for Excel-based forecasting approaches<\/a> \u2013 as part of a wider software toolkit. It\u2019s flexible, it\u2019s transparent, and everyone has access to it. Its drawbacks lie in its inability to smoothly handle the scale and complexity of planning across many brands and scenarios.<\/p>\n
