USA: Melody Marden

Melody Marden is a US-based pharma consulting & analytics Senior Director with over 30 years of life sciences and healthcare industry experience. Melody previously worked for a top 10 pharmaceutical company, driving strategic direction for all key brands, and for a leading PBM, developing the first national smoking-cessation disease management program (offered to 40 million). The protocols Melody developed became the basis for a national smoking cessation program available today, plus programs in diabetes, CHF, HTN, asthma, GERD, and others. Melody earned M.S., Evaluative Clinical Sciences at Geisel School of Medicine, Dartmouth College, where she studied epidemiology/biostatistics, clinical decision making, health policy and quality improvement, and survey design. She is certified in Managed Care through the American College of Managed Care Medicine. Dr. Trajko Spasenovski is a Europe-based pharma consulting & analytics Senior Director with over 20 years of medical, life sciences and healthcare industry experience. Trajko spent 10+ years in the molecular biology, microbiology, reagent space across both laboratory and diagnostic services, across 4 organizations, as well as over 6 years supporting top global life sciences companies in Europe as well as APAC and emerging markets. Trajko earned Doctor of Medicine from St Cyril and Methodius University, Macedonia, and a PhD in Molecular Microbiology from King’s College London with a thesis focused on “Modelling Bacterial Communities in Cystic Fibrosis Lung Infection”. Trajko has native Fluency in 5 languages - English, Macedonian, Croatian, Serbian, and Bulgarian.

Europe: Dr. Paul Verdin

Dr. Paul Verdin is the Head of Evaluate pharma consulting & analytics with over 15 years experience across academic research and consulting. Paul leads the development and management of Evaluate’s pharma consulting & analytics business incorporating all aspects of forecasting and valuation analysis, product strategy assessment, industry trend and outlook analysis, and data feed/API delivery. Paul has worked with a wide range of client organisations across the pharma ecosystem from startup biotechs seeking external perspectives into product strategy and positioning, to suppliers seeking insight into potential customer organisations, to large pharma Corporate Strategy groups providing insights directly to major pharma Executive teams. Paul has a PhD in Neuropharmacology (Lawes Trust Award studentship at University of Nottingham / Rothamsted Research).

Dr Tsz Tsang is the Global Delivery Lead for Evaluate pharma consulting & analytics with over 20 years experience across academia, pharma & medtech, and consulting. His expertise is in competitive intelligence analysis, R&D performance insights, market valuation, competitive landscaping, and external innovation support. Tsz is an Honorary Research Fellow at Imperial College London, having studied aetiological mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric disorders. 

Natasha Choukkar is the EU/EMEA Evaluate pharma consulting & analytics Manager with over 10 years of experience in pharma/ lifesciences strategy consulting, forecasting, competitive intelligence and business development and licensing. She has worked extensively with small, mid-sized and large pharmas, biotechs and CDMO/CROs across geographies to advise on commercial and portfolio strategy, competitive intelligence as well as R&D strategic planning. She was previously associated with Prescient Healthcare Consulting, Merck, PharmaACE and Aragen lifesciences/ GVK BIO before joining Evaluate Ltd. Her project and therapeutic areas of focus have spanned across Oncology, Hematology, Rare diseases, Vaccines/COVID-19 and Cell and Gene Therapy. She holds a Bachelors in Chemistry and Vocational biotechnology and a Masters in Business Administration. 

Japan: Dr. Munehisa Kurosaka

Dr. Munehisa Kurosaka is Senior Manager, APAC at Evaluate Consulting & Analytics with over 20 years experience across academia(Japan and US), pharma, and consulting. His strength is in finding challenges and providing the appropriate data solutions through discussions with clients, which are backed by his strong scientific background and pharma experiences. Munehisa was a Visiting Fellow at the National Cancer Institute, having studied leukocyte migration in inflammatory situations in vivo. He then moved to AIST in Japan to study bone metastasis of breast cancer though the use of mouse models. Munehisa has also worked within a Japanese pharmaceutical company as basic researcher, and organized and operated product (cell therapy) introduction team, and corresponded to PMDA.

USA: Joshua Levy

Joshua Levy is a US Evaluate pharma consulting & analytics Manager with over 10 years of experience in healthcare consulting, data science, and research. His expertise lies in leveraging market access analytics to answer targeted client questions related to market landscape, payer restrictions, and patient behaviour. He is also trained in advanced analytics for statistical modelling and trending of multivariate data. Previous projects include: “Payer contracting and patient assistance strategy on a product and portfolio level”, “Strategy workshop for large pharma company advising on payer contracting in the context of an anticipated launch of a competitor product”, and “Sizing of addressable market and volume forecasting for pipeline products”.
