Lisa Urquhart
A journalist with more than a decade of experience, Lisa joined Evaluate Vantage after seven years at the Financial Times in London, including time as the biotechnology correspondent, where she generated a number of exclusives.
An active contributor to industry panels and articles, Lisa has also commented on the pharmaceutical industry on both television and radio.

Amy Brown
Amy joined Evaluate Vantage from Thomson Financial News, where she covered the European pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors for several years.
She has extensive experience working as a financial journalist, including time at Bloomberg News, and has been a contributor to publications such as Corporate Financier and The Sunday Times.

Jacob Plieth
Jacob has 21 years' experience of writing about healthcare, and joined Evaluate Vantage in 2012 from Edison Investment Research, where he spent five years as an equity research analyst.
He has also worked at Dow Jones and the Wall Street Journal. A biochemist by training, Jacob has spoken about pharmaceuticals and other topics on the BBC World Service and News 24, as well as contributing to various publications including Investors Chronicle and Mednous.

Elizabeth Cairns
Having started her publishing career with a focus on the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors, Elizabeth pivoted to covering the medical device industry around ten years ago.
She has been Evaluate Vantage’s Medtech reporter for five years now, and has been interviewed by publications including the Financial Times and the Boston Globe as an expert on the sector.

Madeleine Armstrong
Madeleine is a reporter at Evaluate Vantage covering both the pharma and Medtech industries.
She joined in 2015 after over eight years at Informa, most recently as Deputy Editor of Clinica Medtech Intelligence. Before this, she also covered the pharmaceutical sector as a reporter for Scrip.

Joanne Fagg
Joanne joined Evaluate Vantage in 2011 having previously worked in healthcare publishing and communications.
She has an MSc in Molecular Medicine and has worked in R&D for a biopharmaceutical company.
As well as covering upcoming market catalysts Joanne is responsible for the smooth running of Evaluate Vantage’s growing electronic publications.

Edwin Elmhirst
Edwin has under- and postgraduate degrees in biomedical science as well as prior freelance experience in editing scientific publications.
He is responsible for a variety of behind-the-scenes functions that go into the day-to-day running of Evaluate Vantage, including data handling and analysis.
